How do I book the Morgan for my wedding?

Start by sending a contact email with your wedding details. Stuart will contact you back to discuss availability, your plans and a quotation. You will receive the agreed hire details, price, deposit amount, balance due date and terms before you decide to book. Once the agreed deposit has been received and written booking confirmation issued, your date is reserved. An initial enquiry alone does not reserve the car.

What should I include in my enquiry email?

Please include your name, contact email and telephone number; wedding day and date; the time you need the car and ceremony time; collection or delivery postcode; ceremony and reception venue addresses; proposed journeys; when and where the car would be returned or collected; the proposed driver’s name and age; and any special requests. If timings are still provisional, simply say so.

Can the bride’s father drive the car?

That is the heart of the experience. The bride’s father can be the proposed driver, subject to insurance eligibility and approval. Driver requirements and the documents needed will be confirmed before a booking is accepted. Please do not assume that your own car insurance covers the hire.

Could someone else drive, or could we have two drivers?

Tell Stuart who you would like to drive, including anyone hoping to drive after the ceremony. Every driver must be declared and approved in advance. Availability of additional-driver cover and any charge will be confirmed in your quotation.

How much does Morgan 4/4 wedding hire cost?

Each wedding is quoted individually, based on the date, hire period, journey, location and any agreed delivery, collection or special arrangements. You will receive the total agreed price and what is included before paying a deposit.

Do I pay a non-refundable deposit?

Yes. After discussing and agreeing the booking, a booking deposit is required to reserve the date. Its amount and cancellation terms will be set out before payment, and it counts towards the total hire price. The deposit is normally non-refundable if you cancel, subject to your statutory rights and fair cancellation terms. Any amount retained must be lawful and proportionate to the loss caused by cancellation, taking account of savings and any replacement booking. It is not a separate refundable damage/security deposit.

When do I pay the remaining balance?

The balance amount, payment method and due date will be agreed in writing before you book. Please use only the payment instructions provided directly by Stuart after your enquiry has been discussed.

What if our plans change or we need to cancel?

Contact Stuart as soon as possible. A date change depends on availability and written agreement. Cancellation will be handled under the terms provided before payment and applicable consumer rights. There is no blanket rule that all payments are lost in every circumstance. If we cancel and cannot provide the agreed hire, you will receive a refund of payments for the unprovided hire; your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Is a security deposit or insurance excess required?

Any separate security deposit, insurance excess, driver restrictions and exclusions will be explained before booking. These are different from your booking deposit. The car will only be released once the agreed driver checks and hire requirements are completed.

Do you cover Derbyshire and Cheshire?

These are the main areas for enquiries. Please provide all venue addresses and postcodes so Stuart can confirm whether the location, mileage and timings work. Delivery and collection are by prior agreement and will be priced clearly if offered.

Will my wedding dress fit in the Morgan?

The Morgan is a compact sports car, so dress shape, mobility and comfort matter. Arrange to discuss a viewing and seating check before booking, particularly for a full skirt or long train. Photos show one real wedding; they do not guarantee that every dress will fit.

What happens if it rains?

The car has a folding hood. Discuss roof operation, access with the hood raised and a wet-weather plan before booking. Open-top travel depends on suitable conditions. Dangerous weather and any resulting changes will be handled under the agreed hire terms.

Can we request ribbons, photographs or special arrangements?

Absolutely—include your ideas in the enquiry. Tell us about ribbon colours, photo stops, a surprise for Dad or other requests. Extras are subject to suitability and written agreement; nothing is included unless confirmed.

Do we get a handover before driving?

Handover and familiarisation arrangements will be discussed in advance, including the controls, roof and return procedure. Allow enough time to become comfortable with the car before the wedding journey.

What happens if the car breaks down?

Breakdown arrangements and the procedure for a vehicle becoming unavailable will be explained before booking. A replacement Morgan is not guaranteed. Discuss any essential backup transport requirements with Stuart before committing.

Does sending an enquiry confirm a booking or take payment?

No. An enquiry starts a conversation. No payment is taken through this website. Your booking is confirmed only after the agreed deposit has been received and written confirmation issued.
